This project is a masterful blend of texture, tone, and sophisticated drama. Every detail was carefully curated to create a moody yet inviting ambiance, where rich materials and bold contrasts bring depth and character to the space. The design balances industrial aesthetics with warm, luxurious elements, resulting in a home that feels both striking and welcoming.

In the kitchen, dark, luxurious cabinetry anchors the space, enhanced by a mix of brass and black accents that add a refined edge. Warm lighting softens the bold palette, highlighting the custom finishes and creating a balance between function and atmosphere. It’s a space designed for everyday ease with a dramatic, elevated feel.

The adjacent family room continues the story, layering industrial elements with plush textures and geometric patterns. A striking accent wallpaper adds visual interest, while comfortable furnishings invite relaxation. The result is a moody, cohesive retreat that feels effortlessly curated and deeply livable.

From the client

"We recently worked with JR on a complete redesign of our kitchen, and we could not be more pleased with the results. JR was incredibly easy to work with and he understood exactly what we wanted from the start. He gave us the perfect balance of options without ever making the process feel over or underwhelming. He is a talented designer who truly listens, and his professionalism and organization were evident in every interaction.

JR was always timely, followed up when he said he would, and made sure every step of the process stayed on track. We appreciated how conscious he was of our budget, ensuring we got the most value without sacrificing quality. Before the redesign, we rarely spent time in our kitchen, but now it has become the heart of our home, a space the entire family enjoys together. We thoroughly enjoyed working with JR and are already discussing our next project with him!

P.S. I am also positive that using JR saved my husband and I from a lot of arguments!"
